Privacy Policy

This describes what the software actually does, checked against the code. It
is not legal advice. If you take payment or accept users in the EU, UK or
California, have a lawyer review it.
Venturo helps you find something to sell and keep track of the people you sell to. To do that it stores what you type in. Your data is stored in your own iCloud account, not on servers we operate. Venturo has no server. What you put into the app is written to a private space in your iCloud that only this app can reach. It counts against your iCloud storage, syncs to your other devices through Apple, and we cannot read it — not "we choose not to", we have no access to it at all. This replaced an earlier arrangement where data lived on a database we ran, and this policy was rewritten when it changed. If you used Venturo before August 2026, that is no longer where your information is kept.
There is no account, and no password
Venturo does not ask you to sign up. There is no username, no password, and no "sign in with" anything. The app identifies you by the iCloud account already on your device, and it never sees your Apple ID, your email address, or your password. You can use Venturo without being signed in to iCloud at all. The Discover feed, the Grow directory, the tips and the journey all work with no account. What you cannot do is keep anything — saving a product, creating a business or recording a client all need somewhere private to write to.
What the app stores
Only what you type in:
- Your profile — your name and your age. Optionally a location, a short
bio, an email address and your goals. Age is asked once, to check you are 13 or older, and nothing else uses it.
- Your business — its name, what you sell, who you sell it to, links.
- Your clients and sales — names, notes, where you found someone, what they
bought and when.
- Your progress — which products you bookmarked and which milestones you
have completed. Your email address is optional and blank by default. Earlier versions took it from whichever sign-in you used; there is no sign-in now, so the field stays empty unless you choose to fill it in. Nothing beyond a name and an age is required. Empty fields stay empty.

That is the whole list. Apple's handling of your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not by this one. The app also loads product and community photographs directly from the sites that host them — Pexels, and suppliers such as AliExpress. Requesting an image tells that host your IP address, the same as opening any web page would. No identifying information about you is sent with those requests. **There is no analytics SDK, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared.** Venturo does not build a profile of you, and there is nothing here to opt out of.
What we can and cannot see
We cannot see your profile, your business, your clients, your sales, your notes or your bookmarks. The catalogue of products and communities that the app shows everybody is public and read-only; your copy of what you did with it is not.
Your data, and getting rid of it
- Export. You → Settings → Export. It assembles everything the app holds
about you into a file, on the device, and hands it to you.
- Delete. You → Settings → Delete account. This removes the entire private
space the app uses, in one operation. It is immediate, it cannot be undone, and there is no grace period and no backup we could restore from — because there is no copy anywhere else. You can also remove Venturo's data from iCloud yourself, without the app, in iOS Settings under your Apple ID → iCloud.
Children
Venturo is not for under-13s. The app asks your age once and stops there if you are younger. We do not knowingly keep information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what the app does with your information, the app will say so rather than quietly updating this page.
